Compassionate Support for the Seasons of Life That Feel Heavy

You may appear strong on the outside while quietly carrying exhaustion, anxiety, racing thoughts, grief, burnout, or the emotional weight of caring for everyone else. Many adults reach out for therapy when life begins to feel overwhelming, sleep becomes difficult, stress feels constant, or they no longer feel like themselves.

I’m Tracie Coleman, MSW, LCSW, founder of Haven Bridge Counseling & Wellness PLLC. I provide compassionate, evidence-based telehealth therapy for adults across Illinois, helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, ADHD-related challenges, insomnia, caregiver stress, chronic illness, trauma, grief, and major life transitions.

With over 8 years of experience in mental health, I’ve worked in crisis services, private practice, and medical oncology settings supporting individuals and families through some of life’s most difficult moments. My background includes working alongside hospitals, first responders, and cancer care teams while helping clients manage emotional stress, uncertainty, and burnout.

My approach combines warmth, empathy, and practical strategies that help clients feel supported while also creating meaningful change. Therapy with me is collaborative, compassionate, and focused on helping you better understand yourself while building tools that make daily life feel more manageable.

My Approach to Therapy

I believe therapy should feel like a safe place to slow down, breathe, process what you’re carrying, and begin rebuilding balance in your life. My style is supportive, down-to-earth, and practical while still addressing the deeper emotional patterns that may be keeping you stuck.

I utilize evidence-based approaches including:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • CBT for Insomnia (CBT-I)

  • Executive Functioning Support

  • Strengths-Based Therapy

  • Trauma-Informed Care

  • Solution-Focused Strategies

  • Compassionate Supportive Therapy

Together, we work toward improving emotional wellness, sleep, coping skills, self-understanding, and overall quality of life.

A Little More About Me

My passion for this work is deeply personal as well as professional. I understand the emotional toll that caregiving, medical stress, loss, ADHD challenges, and life transitions can have on individuals and families. I strive to create a space where clients feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported without judgment.

At Haven Bridge Counseling & Wellness, the goal is simple: to help you feel less alone while building a bridge toward healing, rest, clarity, and emotional wellness.
